Annunciati i vincitori del Golden Joystick!

La scorsa settimana, i giocatori che si sono presentati hanno visto Baldur’s Gate 3 conquistare i Golden Joystick Awards vincendo in tutte le categorie in cui era stato nominato: miglior narrazione, miglior design visivo, miglior comunità di gioco, gioco per PC dell’anno, gioco definitivo dell’anno, studio dell’anno (potremmo anche considerare la vittoria di Neil Newbon come miglior interprete non protagonista come una vittoria per Larian). L’eccitazione dello studio per queste vittorie è stata perfettamente catturata dall’immagine a destra di Swen Vincke, amministratore delegato di Larian, che si sforza di tenere in mano tutti i premi contemporaneamente.

CD Projekt Red si è aggiudicata due premi per la Miglior espansione di gioco e il Miglior trailer di gioco per Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. È stato molto bello vedere CD Projekt Red ricevere un riconoscimento per il duro lavoro svolto sugli aggiornamenti e sui contenuti extra dall’uscita del gioco. Speriamo che il team di Cyberpunk 2077 senta la positività della comunità dopo questa vittoria!

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom di Nintendo non era a pari merito con BG3 per quanto riguarda le nomination ma si è aggiudicato il premio come miglior gioco Nintendo dell’anno. La cosa può sorprendere o meno, a seconda di quanto si è fan del franchise di The Legend of Zelda. Per i fan di lunga data, il gioco è stato un’incredibile aggiunta ai giochi nostalgici con cui i giocatori sono cresciuti, e il premio riflette questo fatto. Per gli altri che hanno appena iniziato a giocare, il gioco è stato sicuramente fantastico, ma potrebbe non essere esattamente quello che tutti stavano cercando.

Square Enix si è aggiudicata due premi per il miglior audio di Final Fantasy XVI, quello per il miglior interprete principale di Final Fantasy XVI (anche in questo caso, si tratta di una vittoria reciproca per l’interprete e lo studio) e quello per il gioco più ricercato di Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. I fan del franchise di Final Fantasy hanno dimostrato ancora una volta di essere una comunità fedele e attiva.
